53,000th Unit Completed at the Omaha Tank Plant
LBT, Inc. today completed the 53,000th unit built at the Omaha Tank Plant. The facility opened in 1966 and has been owned and operated by
LBT for the past 28 years. The primary models today are aluminum tank trailers designed to transport petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel. Other tank models manufactured by LBT include those designed for petro-chemicals, alcohols, solvents and hot products such as asphalts and molasses. Units for dry commodities such as flour and grain are manufactured by LBT as well.
